VETERINARY CLIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE- CLIENT & PET CENTRIC

The CSR we seek has a background in the animal care/veterinary industry (strongly preferred). This position will represent the face of our hospital and team, and leave the beginning and ending impression.
Expectations will be to provide exceptional service to all of our clients and patients every day. An individual who exhibits practical knowledge, is articulate, driven, a multitasker and has quick learning skills, solid computer program and navigation skills. Interpersonal skills; someone open and willing to ask questions, converse with clients and fellow team members through cheerful or challenging conversations, the love to educate, advise responsibly, act as a liaison of communications, and be able to cope swiftly in emotionally stressful situations, be empathetic to others, and multitasks with urgency. Exceptional phone etiquette a must, including listening, dictating telephone calls and medical notes with precise accuracy.
Job Requirements/Essential Functions;
- Strongly Preferred: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the Veterinary/Animal Related Field and veterinary terminology- knowledge of vaccines, annual testing, appointment types, and veterinary medical dictation a plus.
- Requested: Minimum 1–2 years in the Customer Service Industry- strong interpersonal abilities, outgoing and friendly
- Required: Strong Computer Navigation skills: Computer navigation required / PIMS/ Microsoft/ Word/ Excel
- Required: Provide excellent communication in verbal and written form
- Required: Multitasking ability, Solid critical thinking skills, complex solving, active listening, and decision-making skills
- Required: Multiple times per day; The ability to sit, stand, climb stairs, kneel, bend, push, pull, lift and carry up to 50lbs- we have 2 flights of stairs we access regularly- can be physically demanding
- Expected: Must be self-motivated; work well alone or with others, accepts direction from all supervisors; and readily will ask for help when needed. A genuine team player.

Schedule- 4 or 5 day- work weeks may be required depending on business needs with flexible days- and weekend availability is required (Saturdays)
