Veterinary Technician Responsibilities

As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the highest standard of patient care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Supporting surgical and dental procedures, including patient preparation and monitoring
  • Providing compassionate patient care and handling
  • Assisting with diagnostics such as lab work, imaging, and sample collection
  • Communicating with pet owners and supporting client education
  • Maintaining accurate medical records
  • Helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
  • Supporting team members in a fast-paced, collaborative workflow

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a technician who is reliable, eager to learn, and enjoys being part of a strong team.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 1+ year of veterinary technician experience preferred
  • Entry-level candidates may be considered for the right person willing to learn
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • A positive attitude and dependable work ethic
  • Passion for animal care and client service
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, surgical-focused hospital

Compensation

$18 – $25 per hour, based on experience and skill level
