Frederick Road Veterinary Hospital is looking for someone to join our Reception team and can provide an excellent and expeditious client experience for our growing client base. This teammate must be reliable, responsible and eager to embody our hospital values. Could this be you? Read on and see!

Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcome clients and provide warm, exceptional customer service.
  • Check patients in and out for appointments.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to questions, identify service needs, and schedule appointments.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and email communications.
  • Keep the client waiting area clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Enter and update client, patient, and service information in our business software.
  • Follow Fear Free practices to help create a positive, low-stress experience for patients.
  • Assist with daily administrative tasks and office operations.
  • Refer complex questions or issues to senior team members when needed.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Competitive candidates will have a minimum of 6 months experience in a veterinary hospital setting along with a bright, personable can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and a focus on teamwork.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:30am-5pm. 

Compensation:

  • Base hourly rate starting from $16-19, depending on experience
  • Eligible for periodic bonus (where applicable)
