Pima North Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant who is passionate about patient care, values teamwork, and wants to continue growing their skills alongside an experienced and supportive team.

For nearly 30 years, Pima North Animal Hospital has been serving the Scottsdale community with exceptional veterinary care. As an AAHA-accredited, Cat Friendly Practice, we provide comprehensive medical, surgical, dental, boarding, and grooming services. Our team utilizes advanced technology and diagnostics while maintaining a collaborative culture focused on delivering outstanding care to our patients and clients.


What You'll Do

As a member of our medical team, you'll play an essential role in supporting our doctors and advocating for patient health and comfort. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with appointments, treatments, and medical procedures
  • Performing patient assessments and monitoring hospitalized patients
  • Collecting laboratory samples and running in-house diagnostics
  • Administering medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Supporting anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
  • Assisting with dental procedures and surgery
  • Educating clients on medications, treatment plans, and preventative care
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and patient documentation
  • Collaborating with doctors, assistants, and client service representatives to ensure exceptional patient care

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years of veterinary experience required
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred, but not required
  • Strong patient care and animal handling skills
  • Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Commitment to compassionate patient care and exceptional client service
  • Interest in continuing education and professional growth
