Client Services Representative

Brentwood Family Pet Care is searching for two Full-time Customer Service Receptionist. This position is very important as you are the first line of connection to all clients and patients. We are looking for someone who excels in a fast-paced, busy environment, can communicate effectively, and truly cares about the patients they are helping.

• Base hourly rate of $17-20 (Depending on experience)

Schedule: 

·Fulltime: Monday-Friday, eight hour shifts between the hours of 6:30am-7:00pm

*Subject to change due base on hospital needs*

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment check-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms.
• Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.
• Answer client calls for appointments, questions regarding their pet, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders, follow-ups, ready-for-pickup items, etc.
• Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist or medical office assistant preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor
• Ability to lift 30 pounds unassisted
• Ability to assist with checking-in and putting away inventory which may require bending at the waist and knees, kneeling on the ground, or reaching above your head
