Animal Clinic of Rapid City is seeking a credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic, high-performing team. As an 8-doctor general practice with a fully equipped 24/7 emergency hospital, we provide an exceptional level of care and are proud to serve as the only emergency veterinary clinic within a 350-mile radius.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated, compassionate, and skilled technician who:

  • Is credentialed (CVT/RVT/LVT) or eligible
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and remains calm under pressure
  • Has a passion for patient care and client communication
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team
  • Is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a positive clinic culture

Key Responsibilities

  • Client intake and discharge
  • Patient triage and emergency support
  • Venipuncture and sample collection (blood, urine, etc.)
  • Radiology (X-rays)
  • In-house laboratory diagnostics
  • Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
  • Dental procedures and prophylaxis
  • IV catheter placement and medication administration
  • Patient monitoring and nursing care
  • Safe animal handling and restraint
  • Client education and communication
