Grow your skills. Make an impact. Love where you work.

Tieton Drive Animal Clinic is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our collaborative, fast-paced team in beautiful Yakima, Washington. Whether you're a newly licensed technician eager to learn or an experienced LVT looking for a hospital where your skills are valued, we'd love to meet you.

At Tieton Drive Animal Clinic, we believe great technicians aren't defined by years of experience—they're defined by their curiosity, work ethic, and passion for patient care. If you're motivated, eager to learn, and excited to grow, we'll provide the mentorship and support to help you build a rewarding career.

Why You'll Love Working Here

Our technicians are true partners in patient care. We encourage collaboration, trust our team to work at the top of their license, and create an environment where everyone is constantly learning from one another.

Our growing team currently includes 7 veterinarians and will expand to 9 doctors this October, offering plenty of opportunities for mentorship and professional development. We practice efficient, team-based medicine where veterinary assistants help prepare appointments, doctors focus on diagnosing and treating patients, and technicians take the lead on treatments, client education, discharges, follow-up calls, anesthesia, dentistry, and surgical support.

What you can expect:

  • Collaborative doctors who value and rely on their technicians
  • A dedicated surgery doctor daily
  • Urgent care services that keep every day engaging and help build your clinical skills
  • A supportive environment where questions are encouraged and learning never stops

Whether you're just starting your career or bringing years of experience, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while continuing to grow professionally.

  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
  • Passion for delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment
