Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Job description:

Our company is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. A successful candidate will be a certified technician who is able to balance the needs of both the animals and clients. The ideal candidate for this position is able to communicate effectively, work well with team members and follow detailed instructions when completing specific duties. This position is hands-on and requires physical stamina in order to perform both routine and emergency tasks.

Job duties include but are not limited to: triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of laboratory samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of hospitalized cases, administration of medications, assisting the veterinarian in exams effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparations and assistance, anesthetic management, and dentistry.

Compensation: Base salary of $37k to $45k (depending on experience) Eligible for periodic bonus.

Schedule:

• 8 to 10 hour shifts
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental Pay:

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Required)
