Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR)

Oak Animal Hospital | Vacaville, CA

Pay Range: $20.00–$25.00 per hour

Do you love animals and enjoy making a difference in the lives of pets and their families? Oak Animal Hospital is looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionate Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team!

We are seeking someone who is personable, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome clients and their pets with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
• Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage appointment requests.
• Check clients in and out, process payments, and maintain accurate client records.
• Respond to client emails, text messages, and other communications.
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
• Assist clients with questions regarding services, medications, and hospital policies.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming reception area.
• Handle sensitive situations, including distressed clients and end-of-life appointments, with empathy and professionalism.
• Assist with general administrative duties and daily front-office operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Previous veterinary hospital or animal clinic experience strongly preferred.
• Experience using AviMark veterinary practice management software is highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management abilities.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with computers and able to learn new software.
• Professional, dependable, and able to work well as part of a team.
• A genuine love for animals and a desire to provide excellent client care.

We want someone who understands that the client service experience begins at the front desk. The ideal candidate is friendly, compassionate, proactive, and able to remain calm and professional during challenging situations.

A positive attitude, strong work ethic, veterinary industry knowledge, and willingness to learn are essential!

COMPENSATION

$20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
