Jules Veterinary Center is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Tracy, CA.


As a hybrid small animal hospital within the General Practice/Urgent Care/Emergency space we have been recently remodeled with all the bells and whistles. We are also excited to be led by Dr. Natalie Olsen, both skilled and seasoned within the field having been at Jules for over 10 years.

What to expect at our hospital:

  • 3:1 Tech to Dr. ratio
  • Strong mentorship for new grads or those in transition – Dr. Olsen is an amazing mentor, and we have a 2-tiered, custom mentorship program
  • Varied surgeries – no boring days here – we do things like enterotomy/gastrotomy, splenectomy, liver lobectomy, cystotomy, pyometra, amputations, tumor removals, c-sections, etc.
  • Latest equipment – if we don’t have something you want, let’s talk about it
  • 90-ish% dogs and cats
  • 10-ish% pocket pets and exotics (not required for you, or you expand exotics)
  • Compliant clientele
    • 90-ish% dogs and cats
    • 10-ish% pocket pets and exotics (not a requirement but optional career growth)
    • A zero-tolerance policy for abusive clients
  • Altruistic practice – we work with 10+ shelters and rescues

Scheduling That Prioritizes Work-Life Balance:

  • 4 day weekly schedule - NO  CALL 
    • 90 mins blocked daily for lunch and catch up.
  • Flexible scheduling – talk to us about your ideal schedule!
  • Scheduled lunch/drop off times
    • Discretion for drop offs/urgent care cases.
  • # of Surgery days
  • Appointment length

Our Hospital Set Up/Technology:

  • 8 exam rooms (separate dog & cat) and a dedicated comfort room
  • Some in-house labs
  • Lasers, Cautery and ultrasound
  • Brand new plates – digital radiography
  • Oxygen chamber, oxygen concentrators
  • Monitoring, syringe pumps
  • Dental radiography, quality high speed drills, dedicated dental table, gingival flaps
  • Electric charging station in parking lot right next to the hospital

Compensation That Values You

  • Production-Salary Compensation Model ranging from $130,000-$170,000 commensurate with experience and negotiable
  • 4 weeks vacation/sick time plus additional CE days
  • Benefits - medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with an employee match

Qualifications: Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program.
