Northgate Small Animal Hospital is looking for a skilled Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Technician with 3+ years of experience in veterinary medicine to join our AAHA-accredited, Fear Free Certified hospital in Collinsville, IL. We’re passionate about fully utilizing our staff and creating a collaborative, supportive work environment where every team member can thrive.

About Us

Northgate Small Animal Hospital provides high-quality medicine to dogs, cats, and exotics. We work with local rescues, including Speak! Rescue and Sanctuary St. Louis, giving back to our community. Located just across the river from St. Louis, we serve a strong, respectful clientele and enjoy all the opportunities of the nearby city.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in veterinary medicine (required)
  • Strong technical skillset and ability to be fully utilized
  • Confident, motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced hospital setting
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and open to new ideas

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive pay: $17 – $24/hour (based on experience)
