The Honest Truth
This role is the foundation of our clinic’s health and safety and the perfect entry point for a student or someone eager to break into the world of Veterinary Medicine. The daily workflow is approximately 85% facility cleaning and 15% patient interaction. We are looking for a "cleaning powerhouse"—someone who finds genuine satisfaction in a spotless exam room and wants to learn the inner workings of a medical environment from the ground up.

The Role (Essential Functions)

·Sanitation & Disinfection: Master medical-grade cleaning by disinfecting kennels, exam rooms, and surgical suites.

·Clinical Mentorship & Support: Act as the "right hand" to our medical staff. You’ll gain hands-on experience providing safe patient restraint during exams and learning to identify the medical tools and supplies used by our technicians.

·Facility Upkeep: Manage high-volume laundry and restock medical supplies—essential knowledge for understanding clinic inventory.

·Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and walk dogs up to 130 lbs.

Schedule & Compensation

·Ultimate Flexibility: Perfect for students or those with busy mornings! We offer flexible afternoon shifts: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Monday–Friday).

·Pay: $16.00/hour.

·Perks: Gain invaluable industry exposure plus an employee pet discount for your own furry family members.

Who You Are

·Aspiring Vet Professional: You are curious about vet med and want to see what happens "behind the scenes" in a steady, active clinical environment.

·Reliable Self-Starter: You take initiative, identifying what needs to be done before being asked.

·"Clean-First" Mindset: You understand that a sterile clinic is the first step in saving lives.

·Resilient: You are comfortable with animal hair, biological waste, and a busy medical atmosphere.

If this sounds like the right fit for you and your schedule, we’d love to hear from you. Apply below and take your first step into the world of vet med!
