Experienced Veterinary Technician
White’s Pet Hospital - Santa Barbara, CA
White’s Pet Hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team in Santa Barbara.
For more than 100 years, White’s Pet Hospital has served the Santa Barbara community with high-quality, compassionate veterinary care. We’re looking for an experienced technician who is confident in their skills, comfortable working independently, and ready to jump in as a strong member of our medical team.
What We’re Looking For
This role is best suited for an experienced technician with strong hands-on clinical skills. Advanced dental experience is especially important, including confidence with dental procedures and supporting a high-quality dentistry caseload.
Ideal candidates will have experience with:
- Dental procedures and dental radiographs
- Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Surgical and procedural support
- IV catheter placement and venipuncture
- Patient restraint and handling
- Medication administration
- Laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing
- Providing efficient, compassionate patient care
For non-credentialed candidates, we are specifically looking for someone with significant veterinary experience and a well-developed technical skill set who can step into the role with minimal training.
Compensation
$25–$35/hour, based on experience, credentials, and skill level.
