Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant (Full-Time)

We are looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. Credentialed technicians are encouraged to apply, but we are also open to experienced non-credentialed candidates with strong technical skills and a passion for patient care.

Our ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional care to our patients and clients.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Patient restraint and handling
  • Blood collection and sample processing
  • Administering SQ, IM, and IV injections as directed
  • Placing and maintaining IV catheters
  • Assisting doctors with examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Client education regarding medications, preventative care, diagnostics, and treatment plans
  • Monitoring hospitalized patients
  • Performing laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures
  • Taking and developing radiographs
  • Maintaining accurate medical records
  • Supporting a positive and collaborative team environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous veterinary experience required
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred but not required
  • Proficient with blood draws and injections
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy practice
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
