Veterinary Technician - Overnight Emergency

Our 19-doctor, full-service General Practice and Emergency hospital provides exceptional care to pets throughout the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. Due to our hospital’s rapid growth, we need dedicated overnight ER technicians to help us continue delivering top-tier emergency care.

· Competitive Pay & Shift Differentials – $22-$30/hour based on experience, plus overnight pay differential.

Position Details & Requirements:

· Overnight ER Veterinary Technician – Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of experience in emergency medicine and are comfortable with triage, ICU patient care, and surgery.

· Surgical & Anesthesia Training – We welcome technicians eager to grow and offer mentorship in surgery and anesthesia.

· Full-Time Opportunities Available

· Phlebotomy & Catheter Placement

· Knowledge of Radiology Safety & Proper Technique

· Anesthesia Monitoring Proficiency

· Perioperative Surgical Nursing Skills

· ICU Nursing Skills

· Experience Operating Fluid Pumps & Maintaining IV Sets

· Triage & Emergency Medicine Skills, Including CPR Proficiency
