Responsibilities
- 18–26 scheduled appointments per DVM per day, with urgent care cases incorporated based on the team's capacity
- Diverse caseload that can range from routine wellness and internal medicine to urgent and emergency cases
- Collaborative DVM team that works together throughout the day
- Doctors routinely review radiographs together and discuss cases, medications, and new approaches to medicine
- Team members jump in to help when a doctor gets behind or needs assistance
- Experienced technicians and support staff committed to high-quality patient care
- Culture of continued learning and improvement
- Dedicated surgery time available
- Opportunities for both soft-tissue surgery and dentistry
- Freedom to develop your clinical interests
- Ability to work with hospital leadership to explore adding equipment or services that support your professional interests
- 1 technician per doctor plus a float technician each day
- 1 full-time RVT and 1 part-time RVT
- 4 veterinary assistants
- 2 client service representatives
- Assistants perform technician-level duties within their legal scope
- Additional team members currently being trained to expand technician support
- In-house IDEXX bloodwork, urinalysis, and cytology
- In-house ultrasound
- Digital radiography
- Digital dental radiography
- Endoscopy access through sister hospital Bradford Park
- Two-table dental suite
- IM3 dental scaling equipment
- Dedicated surgery suite with scavenger system
- ECG, Bair Hugger, and anesthesia equipment in both surgical areas
- Separate dog, cat, and pre/post-surgical recovery wards
- Dedicated isolation ward
- Separate fenced areas for client dogs and hospitalized patients
- Comfort room designed to provide a calm, supportive environment for euthanasia appointments
- Four-day work week
- Half-day Saturday rotation
- No after-hours emergency responsibilities
