About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Client Service Coordinator (CSC) / Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients and their pets receive exceptional service from the moment they walk through our doors. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing compassionate care to both clients and their pets while helping our hospital run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and friendly environment.
  • Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, scheduling appointments and directing calls to appropriate team members.
  • Assist clients with check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow.
  • Manage patient records accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date client and patient information.
  • Communicate with clients regarding appointment details, follow-up care, and hospital services.
  • Address client questions and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the veterinary team to relay important information and ensure seamless communication between clients and practitioners.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, record keeping, and inventory management.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service or as a receptionist, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Comfort with using computer systems, scheduling software, and multi-line phone systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks while providing top-notch service to clients.
  • Passion for working with animals and a desire to contribute to a positive experience for clients and their pets.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience. Starting at $15.00 per hour
