Job description:

Glenpark Animal Hospital is currently looking for an amazing new full-time person to join our team! We strive to provide customer service we are proud of and treat our clients like family.

We offer a full range of medical, surgical and dental services as well as many products, food or supplies needed for pets. We pride ourselves on practicing high quality medicine and have in house IDEXX procyte, catalyst, sedivue as well as digital radiology, dental radiology, ultrasound, extensive monitoring equipment, online records with Avimark and everything needed to provide excellent medical care.

Having a great culture is essential to our team. We work hard every day and want to have a good time both in and out of the hospital. Our hospital has team that focuses on how to make our work life better! We are looking for a candidate with experience within a veterinary hospital, and exceptional customer service skills.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Take medical histories from clients
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Assist veterinarians during exams
  • Assist other assistants and licensed technicians during exam, and procedures
  • Take radiographs
  • Assist with ultrasounds
  • Venipuncture and other laboratory duties
  • Handle and restrain patients
  • Housekeeping duties - cleaning, laundry, stocking rooms
  • Maintaining inventory
