Veterinary Receptionist – Animal Hospital of Lubbock

Animal Hospital of Lubbock is a full-service veterinary medical and surgical facility seeking a motivated and compassionate Receptionist to join our team. Previous veterinary experience is preferred, but not required—we’re happy to train the right candidate.

We’re looking for someone who is self-driven, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal team member is a quick thinker, able to multitask efficiently, and communicates with confidence and compassion. If that sounds like you, we’d love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-line phone system
• Handle emails, texts, and voicemail communication
• Provide exceptional service to clients and support clinic staff
• Schedule and manage appointments
• Maintain clear and professional client communication
• Patient check-in and check-out
• Process payments (cash, check, and credit card)
• Educate clients on services and patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in customer service required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred)
• High attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient under pressure
• Team-oriented mindset
