Veterinary CSR/Veterinary Assistant
******HIRING FOR BLANCHESTER AND LOVELAND LOCATIONS!!******

We are a fun and fast paced animal hospital looking for a Client Service Representative/Veterinary Assistant to cross between both roles and join our team! 36-40 hours per week. Flexible schedule. Minimum of 2 Saturdays per month.
We have two locations- Loveland and Blanchester- 15 minutes apart on State Route 28. We are looking for someone willing to work both locations (could be 50/50 split between sites).
We provide high quality care to dogs, cats, exotics, reptiles, as well as sheep, goats, and birds.
We have a diverse group of highly experienced DVM's that perform extensive soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, including TPLO's, lateral cruciate suture repair, orthopedic plates, pin/wire, and much more. We also do many routine spay/neuters, and emergency surgeries such as caesareans, pyometras, exploratories, splenectomies, and more!
Skills:
Primary duties include:
Receptionist/CSR duties
Answering a multi-line phone system.
Taking messages for staff and doctors.
Checking and responding to emails.
Online pharmacy: order approval, prep, follow up.
Check client's in and out using Clover machine for credit cards. Care credit, Scratchpay, Cash.
Open and closing reports.
Use of practice managment software- Impromed.
Weigh pets and place rooms.
Veterinary Assistant duties
Exam room preparation: Client communication and education about wellness, vaccines, flea and heartworm prevention. Draw up vaccines, blood collection, fecal and urine collection.
Surgery pack cleaning, wrapping, use of autoclave.
Anesthesia recovery and hospitalization care.
Give oral medications.
Animal restraint. Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance.
Fill medication and calculate various drugs.
Client communication, medical record input, invoicing, print and send go home instructions.
Laboratory skills: I.H. IDEXX Chemistry/CBC and we have the Sedivue for urinalysis!
Ear cytology, skin smears, urinalysis, needle aspirates (with advanced training).

We are a dynamic and fun team that provides a great learning environment and many growth opportunities. We have 8 doctors and a heavy technical staff so that we can provide top notch care to our patients.
Seven Hills Pet Clinic Loveland and Blanchester keep up with the newest technology and education. We have a therapy laser, surgical laser, ultrasound, digital radiography and digital dental radiography. We see urgent care and wellness appointments and have surgery and dental blocks every day during the week. No surgery or dentals on Saturdays.
CLOSED SUNDAY and all major holidays.

Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour- based on experience. Reviews in 30, 60, 90 days.
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
