With a talented team of six veterinarians, we provide a comprehensive suite of services—including preventive care, emergency treatments, and surgeries—ensuring every patient receives top-notch care tailored to their needs.

We are seeking a Veterinary Customer Service Representative & Kennel Technician to join our team. This role combines front-desk client service with hands-on patient and kennel care 1–2 days per week. The ideal candidate enjoys working with both people and animals, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is committed to providing excellent care and service.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Service & Front Desk Duties

  • Greet clients warmly and provide outstanding customer service
  • Check and respond to emails and text messages
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage client inquiries
  • Maintain accurate client and patient records
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with administrative tasks
  • Process check-ins, check-outs, and payments
  • Keep the reception and waiting areas clean, organized, and welcoming

Patient Care Duties (1–2 days per week)

  • Ensure kennel and hospitalized patient areas are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained
  • Provide daily care to hospitalized patients, including walking, feeding, and ensuring access to water
  • Clean, change, and disinfect cages and runs as needed
  • Transfer animals between quarters as required
  • Wash, dry, fold, and store hospital laundry, bedding, and towels
  • Keep exam room and staff break room clean and tidy
  • Read and accurately interpret patient charts and treatment sheets
  • Communicate patient needs clearly with the veterinary technician team
  • Monitor patient behavior and promptly report concerns
  • Escalate health concerns to a Veterinary Technician or Veterinarian in a timely manner
  • Properly restrain animals as needed
  • Assist with supply orders

Qualifications

  • Basic veterinary medicine knowledge preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret treatment sheets
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email)
  • Professional and courteous demeanor
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Works well in a team-oriented environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior kennel or veterinary experience preferred but not required
  • Reliability and dependability are required
  • Ability to work weekends
