Responsibilities

Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced, motivated DVM ready for the next step in their career, and we're backing that step with one of the strongest incentive packages in the region.

Incentive Package

  • $150,000 + Base Salary
  • 21% – 23% Production
  • $50K – $75K Sign-On Bonus
  • $5K Annual CE Allowance
  • Path to Growth: Medical Director or equity/joint venture opportunity
  • DEA, AVMA, VIN, state license, and PLIT fees — fully paid

What Your Schedule Looks Like

  • 4-day work week (flexible structure)
  • No on-call or after-hours
  • Designed to support long-term sustainability and leadership growth

Leadership & Growth Opportunity

  • Clear path to Medical Director if interested
  • Mentorship and collaboration with an experienced team
  • CE sponsorship and structured training through PetOne Veterinary Training Center
  • One fully covered PetOne course in your first year

The Practice

  • AAHA-accredited, high-standard medicine
  • Diverse caseload: dogs, cats, and pocket pets
  • Opportunity to see exotics and avian patients
  • Advanced diagnostics including ultrasound, digital radiography, and dental imaging

Integrative Medicine

  • Acupuncture (with optional electrical stimulation)
  • Chinese and natural therapies
  • Laser therapy

What We're Looking For

  • DVM (or equivalent), licensed or eligible in Florida
  • 1+ year experience preferred
  • Comfortable with surgery and dentistry
  • Interest in leadership and team development is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaborative mindset
