The Opportunity:
As a Veterinary Hospital Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our hospital, ensuring top-tier patient care, and exceptional client service. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving our hospital's success, enhancing profitability, and nurturing a culture of excellence and compassion. Responsibilities:
- Complete ownership of P&L, accountable for the hospital's performance
- Collaborate with regional leadership to identify trends and forecast the hospital's needs
- Manage accounts receivable
- Oversee hospital inventory and control facility and administrative costs
- Manage payroll for hospital staff
- Develop the hospital schedule and manage labor costs
- Champion change and identify, document, share, and promote best practices
- Lead the hospital team to enhance processes and workflows, covering client service, operations, and administrative tasks
- Implement new technologies and initiatives to improve operational efficiency
- Establish and drive the culture of the hospital
- Track and maintain current licensures for all DVMs
- Provide feedback and handle challenging conversations
- Demonstrate and reinforce the highest level of client service
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, including customer service experience
- Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based industry setting in positions of increased responsibility is a plus
- Veterinary Technician experience is preferred
