About the Role

We are hiring a Veterinary Technician with surgical and anesthesia experience to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a technician who is confident in anesthesia monitoring, surgical assisting, and patient care and enjoys working in a fast-paced veterinary hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures and surgical nursing
  • Perform anesthesia induction and anesthesia monitoring
  • Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture
  • Administer medications and pre-anesthetic protocols
  • Prepare patients for surgery and provide perioperative care
  • Perform dental cleanings (dental prophylaxis)
  • Take and assist with radiographs (X-rays)
  • Support general veterinary technician duties as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Veterinary Technician experience
  • Minimum 2 years of surgery and anesthesia experience
  • Comfortable with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Reliable and able to maintain a positive attitude under pressure

Schedule

  • 4 full days + 2 half days per week
  • Includes rotating Saturday half-day
  • 8-hour shifts
