Managing Veterinarian (DVM)

We are a well-established small animal clinic located only 45 minutes south of Louisville, and take pride in being one of the select few veterinary hospitals in the state that is AAHA accredited.

We are seeking an enthusiastic managing veterinarian to join our team and continue to grow professionally. Our current 4 doctor practice provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care in a fun and team-focused environment.  We are able to offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package to include: health, vision, dental, AD&D insurance, paid vacation, professional licensing & dues, and CE.

The Managing Doctor is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine.  The Managing Doctor is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are delivered.

In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the Managing Doctor is responsible for the financial performance and general operations of the hospital under the guidance of Divisional Leadership. In addition, the Hospital Manager and Managing Doctor are responsible for cultivating a supportive and collaborative team environment.

The Managing Veterinarian partners with the Hospital Manager (Field/Divisional leadership team) to drive financial performance and general operations of the hospital and to more broadly cultivate a supportive and collaborative team environment. This hospital-level team is supported by their KIT Divisional Leadership who provides practice management training, reporting, and ongoing resources to develop a best in class hospital. The hospital is one of many that report into this KIT division, so the Managing Veterinarian can expect to network with and learn from peers in similar roles in veterinary clinics nearby.

Our hospital is well-equipped with:

Digital X-rays | Digital Dental X-rays | Wet Table | Brand New Dental Equipment | Ultrasound | In-house IDEXX Laboratory | Dedicated Surgical Suite with Separate Prep/Treatment Area | Surgical Laser | Preventative Care Wellness Plans | Tonopen | Canis Major Lift Tables in All Exam Rooms | Nearby Referral Services | Minimal Emergency After-hours Services | Grooming & Boarding Facility

We also have a satellite location, North Hardin Veterinary Clinic, which is located only 15 minutes away in Radcliff, KY. Our team of doctors and staff rotate to both locations to better serve our community.
