Client Services Representative

Best Friends Animal Hospital is looking to add a full-time Receptionist to our front desk team.

Our Receptionists are the face of our practice. This role plays a crucial part in supporting our clients and patients by delivering exceptional customer service.

• Create and present financial estimates and treatment plans
• Guide clients through check-in, discharge, check out
• Handle financial transactions
• Effectively resolve client questions via phone and email
• Take ownership in building trust and relationships with clients
• Create appointments and gather patient history prior to appointment dates
• Assist with patient discharges, updates and follow up calls
• Triage incoming requests
• Maintain patient records
• Work closely with our medical teams to ensure a positive outcome at each visit

The best candidates have:

• 1+ year experience in a customer service role; veterinary experience is preferred 
• A deep, genuine care for helping people
• Naturally empathetic and articulate communication
• A friendly and professional demeanor
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Comfort working with computer software

Education:

• High school or equivalent 

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
• veterinary: 1 year (Preferred)
