We're currently growing our technician team and anticipate future Lead Veterinary Technician opportunities for those who enjoy mentoring others and leading by example.

What You'll Do

As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you'll play an essential role in providing outstanding patient care while working alongside experienced veterinarians and a supportive team.

Responsibilities include:

· Monitoring anesthesia during surgical and dental procedures

· Assisting with soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures several days each week

· Performing laboratory diagnostics and sample collection

· Administering medications and treatments

· Providing exceptional nursing care to hospitalized patients

· Educating clients on preventive care, treatments, and discharge instructions

· Maintaining accurate medical records

· Supporting a positive, collaborative hospital culture

What We're Looking For

Required:

· Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license (preferred, but we're open to discussing candidates working toward credentialing)

· Passion for providing exceptional patient care

· Strong communication and teamwork skills

· Positive attitude and willingness to support your teammates

Ideal Candidate:

· 2+ years of veterinary technician experience

· Experience monitoring anesthesia independently

· Comfortable assisting with surgery and dentistry

· Interest in mentoring teammates and growing into future leadership opportunities

· Someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit, collaborative team

Schedule

· Four 10-hour shifts

· No weekends

· Great work-life balance so you can enjoy everything Asheville has to offer.

Compensation

· $20–$24/hour, based on experience
