Vinton Veterinary Hospital, a progressively growing hospital is currently hiring staff to join its dynamic and passionate After Hours Urgent Care Team.  Full-Time, Part-Time or Relief opportunities are available.  Currently, the hospital is open for Urgent Care 1-10pm, Monday- Friday and 9am-3pm Sundays.  We welcome anyone interested in full or partial shifts to apply.  Whether you are looking for a new place to call your work home on a full-time basis or interested in earning a little extra income after your primary work place closes, we would like to hear from you!  

Our 9 doctor, small animal hospital is well equipped with the latest innovations including digital radiography, ultrasound and Idexx in-house laboratory equipment.  

Responsibilities include triaging phone calls and walk-ins, assisting urgent care doctors in treating urgent care type cases and providing excellent customer service to clients.  Some sedated procedures and minor surgeries are included in the services provided.

Competitive wages with shift differential applied to after hours and weekend shifts.  Full-time employees are eligible for a full range of benefits including health, dental, eye insurances, 401K plan, paid holidays, paid vacation time, paid sick leave, CE time and money and generous pet discounts available.  Short-term Disability insurance is available at no cost to Full-time employees.  $1,000-3,000 sign-on bonus available based on experience and skill level for Licensed LVTs.
