Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinarian Medical Director to lead our AAHA-accredited team in a collaborative, supportive environment.   • $5,000 CE in year one ($3,000 annually after)

The Opportunity

  • Provide medical leadership and ensure the highest quality of care
  • Mentor and manage associate veterinarians
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold veterinary ethics
  • Partner with the Hospital Manager to oversee financial performance
  • Prepare operating and capital budgets
  • Guide staff and overall hospital operations
  • Collaborate with divisional leadership under National Veterinary Associates (NVA)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a DVM
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited university
  • Active Florida veterinary license in good standing
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary
  • Production-based and leadership bonuses
  • Up to $60,000 signing bonus
  • No negative accrual during the first year
