We're looking for a Veterinary Laboratory Technician to join our collaborative team in a high-volume general practice and emergency hospital.

About the Role

This position is ideal for a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or an experienced lab professional who is detail-oriented, proactive, and confident working in a fast-past clinical environment.

What You'll Do

  • Perform in-house laboratory testing (CBC, chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, etc.)
  • Prepare and submit samples to reference labs
  • Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment
  • Ensure quality control and accurate record keeping
  • Communicate critical results promptly to the medical team
  • Anticipate doctor needs and prioritize diagnostics accordingly
  • Support both general practice and ER cases, adapting quickly to changing priorities
What We're Looking For
  • LVT preferred, but equivalent lab experience strongly considered
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and best practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure without sacrificing accuracy
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization
  • Proactive mindset 
  • Strong communication skills and team collaboration
  • Passion for patient care and supporting high medical standards

    • Sunday-Tuesday (7am-7pm)

    • Base hourly rate of $25-$32
