Compensation: $19-$22 per hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you'll play an essential role in patient care and hospital operations by:
  • Assist veterinarians during appointments, examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia throughout surgical procedures.
  • Assist with patient recovery and post-operative care.
  • Perform dental cleanings under the direction of a veterinarian.
  • Obtain diagnostic samples including blood, urine, and other laboratory specimens.
  • Perform in-house laboratory testing and assist with diagnostics.
  • Take high-quality digital radiographs using proper positioning techniques.
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
  • Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and discharge instructions.
  • Assist with emergency and urgent patient care when needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Prepare, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and treatment areas.
  • Work collaboratively with veterinarians, assistants, client service representatives, and the entire hospital team to provide outstanding patient care.
Qualifications
  • Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential required.
  • One or more years of veterinary technician experience preferred.
  • Strong anesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing skills.
  • Experience with laboratory procedures and diagnostic imaging.
  • Excellent communication and client education skills.
  • Ability to safely handle animals of varying sizes and temperaments.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced veterinary hospital.
  • Passion for providing exceptional patient care and supporting your teammates.
