Bay Moorings Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician (licensed or unlicensed) to join our growing small animal practice. We’re looking for a skilled, dependable, team-oriented technician who is confident in their abilities and takes pride in providing excellent patient care. Experience is required, but credentialing is not.

What You’ll Do

· Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and client education
· Administer medications, vaccines, and IV fluids
· Perform venipuncture, place IV catheters, and run laboratory tests
· Take and process radiographs
· Prepare patients for surgery, monitor anesthesia, and support recovery
· Assist with dental procedures and patient monitoring
· Maintain accurate patient records and communicate treatment plans with clients
· Provide attentive care and monitoring for hospitalized patients
· Help maintain inventory, equipment, and treatment areas
· Support doctors and the hospital team throughout the day
· Take an active role in patient care and help keep the hospital running efficiently

What We’re Looking For

· Previous Veterinary Technician experience is required
· Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT) preferred, but not required
· Experienced, unlicensed Veterinary Technicians are encouraged to apply
· Strong technical skills in anesthesia, diagnostics, venipuncture, and patient handling
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
· Comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player
· Strong communication and client-service skills
· Dependable, professional, and accountable
· Passion for patient care and a genuine desire to be an active part of the team

Schedule

· Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available
· Current hospital hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
· No Saturday hours currently
· Hospital is closed daily from 12:00–1:00 PM for lunch
· As the hospital continues to grow, Saturday availability will be required in the future
