Associate Veterinarian – White's Pet Hospital | Santa Barbara, CA

White's Pet Hospital has been a cornerstone of veterinary care in the Santa Barbara community for over a century. We honor that legacy by staying true to our values while embracing the latest advancements in medicine, technology, and workplace culture. We're looking for a passionate Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative, close-knit team.

Why You'll Love Working Here:

We know that great veterinary care starts with a great team. That's why we've built a culture where work-life balance isn't just a buzzword — full-time means four days a week. Our supportive, multi-doctor environment is led by an onsite Hospital Manager and a team of experienced doctors who are as eager to teach as they are to learn. A sense of humor? Absolutely required.

Our loyal client base is the result of decades of trust — and they show it. You'll walk into an environment where respect from clients is the norm, not the exception.

Our Practice:

We're a modern, paper-light, 3-doctor practice equipped with everything you need to practice high-quality medicine, including a brand new GE Ultrasound, new dental machines and scalers, updated surgical lighting, digital x-ray, a large surgery suite, and access to a visiting Board Certified Internist.

Compensation & Benefits:

We take care of our people. Our comprehensive package includes:

  • Competitive salary up to $150,000
  • Outstanding 2:1 tech-to-doctor support ratio,
  • Full health/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) with match,
  • Generous CE days and allowance
  • Sign-on + relocation bonus offerings

About Santa Barbara:

Santa Barbara offers the best of California living — stunning coastal scenery, a walkable downtown, world-class dining and wine, and 283 sunny days a year. It's the kind of place people move to and never want to leave.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be graduates of an AVMA-accredited program or hold ECFVG or PAVE certification.
