Full-time Associate Veterinarian opening at River Forest Animal Hospital! Join our family-friendly team! We have a 4 day work week that encourages WORK – LIFE BALANCE and currently offering up to $20,000 in bonuses!


Our ideal candidate enjoys surgery, dentistry, gets along with people and has good communication. We put a lot of emphasis on client and patient care and practice high quality medicine. Our clients are friendly and motivated, staff is helpful, happy, and friendly. They approach veterinary medicine with professionalism and a sense of humor.  New grads welcome!


***For new graduates, this position will be included in the NVA Illinois Mentorship Program. In this program, our ADVMs will have access to:

  • One on one surgical and medical support from Illinois Mentor
  • Suite of wellness programming focusing on stress management and cultivating a balanced approach to your life
  • Cohort of other new graduate ADVMs in Illinois with planned social events, team bonding, and engagement, regardless of current clinic worked in          

About our hospital:

  • Digital radiography
  • Digital dental radiography
  • Ultrasound
  • Electric Lift Exam Tables
  • Full IDEXX in-house labs including CBC, Chemistry, Sedivue Urinalysis
  • BRAND NEW REMODEL 
  • Electronic medical records (Avimark)
  • No on call or after-hour emergencies.


As the Associate Veterinarian, you will enjoy:

  • Excellent compensation with a base range of $120k - $140k. Compensation commensurate with experience, skills, schedule, and the scope of services provided.
