Are you a compassionate Veterinarian who enjoys building strong relationships with clients and their pets? Gull Lake Animal Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Veterinarian to join our collaborative, supportive team in Richland, Michigan. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys medical and preventive care visits with exceptional client care, with opportunities to assist in surgery when coverage is needed. New graduates are encouraged to apply (FT position w/ mentorship for new grads)!

Your Role

As a Veterinarian at Gull Lake, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality care in wellness and medical appointments
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and pets
  • Support surgeries and dentistry as needed (ultrasound experience a plus, but not required)
  • Collaborate with experienced LVTs and assistants in a well-staffed and highly supported environment

Our Hospital

  • 5 exam rooms (including a comfort room) with dedicated dog and cat areas
  • Two-table surgical suite
  • Fully equipped dental suite with digital dental x-ray
  • Digital radiology, ultrasound, and laser therapy
  • Long-tenured, skilled technician team – multiple LVTs
  • 30-year history of serving the Gull Lake/Richland community

What We’re Looking For

  • DVM or equivalent degree (new graduates encouraged!)
  • Enjoys appointments, client communication, and building strong relationships
  • Comfortable learning surgeries over time (optional)
  • Team player who contributes to a positive work environment

Location Highlights: Richland, Michigan

  • Beautiful, residential area with large recreational lake and scenic bike/hiking trails (local access to Kal-Haven Trail)
  • Active local community with school sports and horse farms nearby
  • Quiet, safe town with easy access to Kalamazoo (15 min) and Grand Rapids (45 min)
