Job Title: Associate Corporate Recruiter
National Veterinary Associates – General Practice (NVA-GP)
Job Summary
The Associate Corporate Recruiter supports NVA-GP’s hiring efforts by partnering closely with the Corporate Recruiting team to attract, engage, and hire top talent across the organization. This is an entry-level recruiting role designed for individuals eager to build a foundation in full-cycle recruiting within a dynamic and purpose-driven organization. The Associate Corporate Recruiter will manage candidate pipelines, coordinate interviews, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience while developing core recruiting competencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruiting activities for assigned roles, with an emphasis on high-volume requisitions
- Review and screen resumes to assess candidate qualifications and alignment with role requirements
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screens, clearly communicating role expectations and next steps
- Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while meeting hiring timelines and service-level expectations
- Provide a professional, responsive, and positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process
- Assist with offer preparation and onboarding coordination
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in a corporate environment
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with basic technology tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Smartsheet)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in recruiting, human resources, talent acquisition, or sales
- Exposure to high-volume hiring environments (e.g., retail, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service)
- Demonstrated interest in talent acquisition or human resources as a career path
- Experience using applicant tracking systems or CRM tools
- Ability to balance speed and quality while maintaining a high standard of professionalism
