Kennel Assistant

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and hardworking Kennel Assistant to join our team. If you love animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feed, water, and care for dogs, cats and exotics.
• Clean and sanitize kennels, runs, and common areas.
• Janitorial duties and maintenance of hospital.
• Exercise, walk, and monitor animals for their health and wellbeing.
• Bathing and nail trims
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Support the veterinary and kennel team with daily tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with pet owners.

Requirements:

• Genuine love for animals and a compassionate attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20 kg (45 lbs), stand for extended periods, and perform cleaning duties.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts as required.
• Previous animal care experience is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.
