Responsibilities

Associate Veterinarian
**Louisville Family Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our established small animal practice in Louisville, Colorado.
This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys surgery and wants the time, caseload, and support to continue developing those skills.

Our clients are engaged in their pets’ care and are often willing to pursue comprehensive diagnostics and treatment recommendations. des a broad range of general practice services, including:
  • Soft-tissue surgery
  • Spay and neuter procedures
  • Dentistry
  • Wellness and preventive care
  • Radiography
  • In-house laboratory services
  • Pain management and laser therapy
  • End-of-life care
The hospital is also conveniently located near referral specialists and emergency hospitals, allowing our doctors to provide continuity of care while having access to additional support when a case requires advanced treatment.
A Collaborative Doctor Team
You will join a team of veterinarians with varied clinical interests, including dentistry, internal medicine, dermatology, cytology, geriatric medicine, pain management, integrative medicine, acupuncture, client communication, leadership, and teaching.
Schedule
We believe a sustainable schedule is essential to a long-term career in veterinary medicine. The ideal schedule would be a 4-day work week with some rotating Saturdays. No after hours call or Sundays.
About You
The ideal candidate is a collaborative and dependable veterinarian who is committed to providing high-quality medicine and building trusted relationships with clients.
Qualifications include:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree from an accredited university
  • Active Colorado veterinary license in good standing, or eligibility to obtain one
  • Interest and experience in soft-tissue surgery
  • Strong medical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with veterinarians and support staff
  • Commitment to continued professional growth
  • Professional, compassionate, and client-focused approach to care
Compensation and Benefits
Starting base compensation: $120,000 plus production
Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
