Nestled in Colorado's stunning Front Range, Louisville Family Animal Hospital is a rapidly expanding general practice committed to excellence. We champion work-life balance with a flexible schedule of four 10-hour shifts, rotating Saturdays, and best of all: no Sundays!
We're conveniently located near a wealth of referral specialists and emergency hospitals, and our devoted clientele is eager and able to pursue comprehensive diagnostics for their beloved pets. Your Impact: Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with clients, actively listening to their concerns and empathizing with their needs.
- Maintains client/patient medical/surgical records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols.
- Presents a positive image of the hospital in the professional community and to the general public.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and a full range of diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive care, and nutritional guidance.
- Stay ahead of the curve by remaining current on new medical information and advancements in veterinary medicine.
- Play a vital role in developing our support team, ensuring they deliver exceptional care and client service.
- Represent Louisville Family Animal Hospital with a positive and professional image within the community.
Are You the One? Skills & Qualifications
We're looking for a leader who embodies our commitment to outstanding veterinary care:
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
- Active and in good standing licensure to practice in Colorado.
- A profound commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- The ability to make confident and effective decisions.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- A professional and courteous demeanor that inspires staff and clients alike.
- A dedication to ongoing educational development and growth.
- Previous leadership experience within a veterinary practice
