Nebraska Animal Medical Center in Lincoln, NE, is seeking experienced Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our dedicated team. Qualifications:
- Licensed Veterinary Technician in Nebraska (or eligible for licensure).
- Emergency experience is preferred, but not required—we value a strong foundation and eagerness to learn.
- Self-starter with excellent critical thinking skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently and compassionately in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Job duties include (but are not limited to):
- Triage of incoming patients and emergency cases.
- Collection and analysis of laboratory samples.
- Diagnostic imaging (including ultrasound).
- Management and nursing care for hospitalized patients of varying stability.
- Administration of enteral and parenteral medications.
- Clear communication of treatment plans with clients.
- Surgical preparation, assistance, and anesthetic management.
- Supporting our full range of services, from wellness to emergencies.

- Full daytime emergency capabilities.
- Dedicated ultrasound room with two ultrasound machines.
- Seven exam rooms plus a dedicated comfort room.
- Fully equipped dental suite with monitoring and warming.
- Large surgery suite.
- Boarding and daycare with a turf play yard.
- Full grooming facility.
- Radioiodine (I-131) treatment for cats.
- And much more—all designed for superior patient care and comfort.
