Animal Care Center of Polaris is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused part-time receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients and patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the daily operations of our busy veterinary hospital.
Responsibilities:
-Greet clients and pets in a professional and compassionate manner
-Answer multi-line phone calls and assist clients with questions, scheduling, and appointment requests
-Check patients in and our for appointments, surgeries, boarding, grooming and daycare services
-Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
-Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and client communications
-Support veterinary team as needed
-Keep reception and waiting areas clean, organized and welcoming
-Escalate complex client concerns to appropriate team members
Qualifications:
-Minium of 6+ months of customer service
-Veterinary or animal experience preferred but not required
-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
-Comfortable handling phone calls, scheduling, and payment processing
Compensation:
$16.00-$17.00
Part-time employees are not eligible for healthcare benefits and paid-time off are not available for part-time employees at this time.
