Job Description Overview:

·Animal restraint and comfort handling animals in all aspects of the hospital

·Proficient in venipuncture, giving injections, and place IV catheters

·Ability to run in house diagnostics including labs, radiographs, BPs, etc.

·Ability to multitask and educate clients with exceptional communication skills

·Assist with patient care and treatment

·Monitor hospitalized patients during anesthesia and in recovery after surgery

·Maintain inventory and stocking

·Maintain & sterilize surgical instruments/equipment

·Clean/Disinfect cages, kennels, exam and treatment areas of hospital

·Administering medications under Veterinarian supervision

·Help in answering phones when needed
