Job description

Client Care Team Member (CSR)
Hopkinton Animal Hospital
1325 Hopkinton Rd, Hopkinton, NH 03229

Be the reason our clients feel cared for from the moment they walk in.

At Hopkinton Animal Hospital, we know that exceptional veterinary care starts at the front desk. We are looking for a Client Care Team Member (CSR) to join our growing team and help create a welcoming, supportive, and seamless experience for our clients and their pets.

As our hospitals continue to expand and welcome new veterinarians, we are building a strong client care team that thrives on communication, organization, and compassion.

Our hospitals are AAHA-accredited, Fear Free focused, and Cat Friendly, offering advanced services including orthopedic surgery, exotics care, I-131 therapy, and comprehensive small animal medicine. You’ll play a key role in supporting both our clients and our medical team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

We operate two busy hospitals just 14 minutes apart, giving you exposure to a diverse client base and a dynamic daily workflow.

Why Client Care Team Members Love Working Here

A Team That Truly Stays
Our culture is something special. Many team members have been with us for 12–15 years, our hospital manager is approaching 20 years, and one team member has been here for over 30 years. We’ve built a workplace where people feel supported, valued, and want to stay.

Supportive, Team-First Environment
You’ll work alongside a collaborative team that values communication, mutual respect, and helping one another succeed. No one works in a silo here—we are truly one team across both hospitals.

Opportunities to Grow
Whether you’re new to veterinary medicine or experienced in client care, we support your growth. You’ll gain exposure to the medical side of veterinary care, develop strong communication skills, and have opportunities to expand your role over time.

Fast-Paced & Engaging Work
No two days are the same. You’ll be at the center of patient flow, client communication, and hospital operations—perfect for someone who enjoys staying busy and making an impact.

Community Focused
We love being part of our community and regularly participate in local events that support pets and their families.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Client Care Team Member who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys connecting with people just as much as caring for animals.

This role is essential to creating a positive client experience while supporting hospital flow and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Scheduling appointments and managing daily workflow
  • Answering phones and triaging client needs appropriately
  • Communicating clearly with both clients and medical team members
  • Processing invoices, payments, and medical records
  • Supporting both hospitals as needed
  • Helping maintain a smooth, organized front desk environment

What We’re Looking For

Experience in veterinary medicine is a plus, but not required. We’re happy to train the right person.

The right fit for our team is someone who:
✔ Is compassionate, friendly, and client-focused
✔ Communicates clearly and confidently
✔ Is organized and able to multitask in a busy environment
✔ Stays calm and solution-oriented under pressure
✔ Enjoys working as part of a team
✔ Is eager to learn and grow

Schedule

We prioritize consistency while offering flexibility.

Schedule options may include:

  • 4 ten-hour shifts
  • 5 eight-hour shifts

Additional details:

  • Some closing shifts (until 7:30 PM)
  • One Saturday per month (8 AM – 12 PM) at one of our hospitals

Compensation & Benefits

$18–$21 per hour (based on experience – open to discussion)

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Continuing Education support
  • Uniform allowance
  • Employee pet care discounts
  • Career growth and advancement opportunities
