Sachem Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team. Founded in 1983, Sachem Animal Hospital has been a trusted cornerstone of the community for over 40 years. In December 2025, we proudly relocated to Ronkonkoma into a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility designed to support high-quality medicine, collaboration, and professional growth.

Position Overview
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care to companion animals while building strong client relationships and contributing positively to our team culture.
Responsibilities
Perform physical exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans
Conduct surgeries and dental procedures (experience level flexible)
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
Collaborate effectively with veterinarians, management, technicians, and support staff
Uphold high medical, ethical, and professional standards
Qualifications
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York
New graduates are welcome to apply
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Passion for delivering high-quality veterinary medicine
What We Offer
Annual salary of $125,000–$175,000, based on experience, with a production-based bonus
