About You:

·You are an experienced Veterinary Assistant with outstanding client service skills and excellent patient care.

·Quick on your feet, you are a dynamic and efficient worker who contributes to the operation of the entire hospital, helping to get all the day’s duties done!

·You understand that clear, effective communication among clients and team members is a priority and are dedicated to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.

·You have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary assistant including (but not limited to):

oPatient assessment and physical examinations

oPhlebotomy and catheter placement

oKnowledge of radiology safety and proper technique

oAnesthesia monitoring proficiency

oPerioperative surgical nursing skills

oRoutine dental prophylaxis experience

oKnowledge of basic laboratory procedures

Anticipated Schedule:

·Full time positions include 4 shifts per week (32-38hrs)

·Rotating weekend duties

·Part-time opportunities may be available

·Hospital hours are:

oTuesday – Friday 9am-6pm

oSaturday: 9am – 3pm

Compensation: $20-$25/hr depending on experience.
