Harbor Animal Hospital is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our experienced and collaborative team in Gig Harbor, WA.

Established in 2005, Harbor Animal Hospital is an 8-doctor practice with deep roots in our community. We’re proud to have an experienced team, including several team members who have been with us for 10–20+ years, while continuing to welcome fresh ideas and new energy.

Whether you’re an experienced LVT or a new graduate looking for mentorship, you’ll find a team that wants you to use your skills, build confidence, and take ownership of your role.

What You’ll Do

As an LVT, you’ll have the opportunity to fully utilize your technical skills while providing high-quality, compassionate patient care, including:

  • Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
  • Dental procedures and dental radiographs
  • Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory work
  • Patient treatments and nursing care
  • Surgical and procedural support
  • Client education and communication
  • Working closely with our doctors and support team to provide excellent patient care

What We’re Looking For

  • Current Washington LVT license or ability to obtain
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for veterinary medicine and patient care
  • Motivation to learn, grow, and contribute to the team

Schedule & Compensation

Full-Time: Four 10-hour shifts per week

Compensation: $25–$32/hour, depending on experience
