Kennel Assistant

Evergreen Veterinary Hospital is looking for a compassionate and reliable Kennel Assistant to help us care for our patients and our hospital. If you have a sincere passion for animals and want to be part of a supportive veterinary team, we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Do:

§Keep the hospital clean, stocked, safe and comfortable.

§Provide daily care for dogs and cats (feeding, walking, cleaning and lots of TLC)

§Assist veterinary staff with patient handling when needed.

§Monitor animals’ behavior and well-being, and report changes to the team.

What We’re Looking For:

§A dependable, self-starter with excellent time management skills.

§Strong ability to manage the emotional aspect of veterinary medicine.

§Able to work in a team environment and communicate clearly.

§Previous veterinary hospital or animal care experience is helpful but not required - we will provide training.

§Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and handle pets of all sizes.
