Overland Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our collaborative small animal practice. This is a great opportunity for a technician who is confident in their skills, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a team that truly supports one another.



🏥 About the Hospital

  • Full-service dog and cat general practice
  • 4-doctor team with strong technician support
  • Equipped with advanced diagnostics including digital radiology, dental radiographs, ultrasound, ECG, cold laser, and electrocautery
  • Offers medical care, surgery, dentistry, boarding, daycare, and grooming. A true one-stop shop for pet care
  • Technicians are empowered to work at the top of their skillset


💼 What You’ll Do

  • Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
  • Monitor anesthesia and support surgical and dental procedures
  • Perform venipuncture, place catheters, and provide nursing care
  • Run exam rooms and communicate clearly with clients
  • Maintain accurate medical records and support patient flow
  • Collaborate with a team that jumps in, helps out, and keeps things moving

🕒 Schedule

  • 4 days per week (full-time)
  • Rotating Saturdays (~1 per month)
  • Focus on work-life balance with a consistent schedule


? What We’re Looking For

  • Veterinary Technician experience required (RVT/LVT/CVT a plus, not required)
  • Strong technical skills: anesthesia, surgery support, venipuncture, patient care
  • Ability to jump in, take initiative, and stay organized
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude - no ego, no drama
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment


💰 Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting at $25–$27/hour, based on experience
