What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Certified Veterinary Assistant at Lilley Veterinary Medical Center, you’ll play an essential role in providing top-notch care for our patients and exceptional service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and treatments.
- Providing compassionate care to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Educating pet owners on preventative health care and post-treatment instructions.
- Maintaining a clean and organized environment in examination rooms and treatment areas.
- Handling administrative tasks such as patient records and appointment scheduling when needed.

Your work will directly contribute to the high standard of care we’re known for in the Canton community and beyond.

What We’re Looking For: Skills and Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Certification as a Veterinary Assistant.
- At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary or animal care setting.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their health and well-being.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with pet owners and team members alike.
- The ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
