Alpine Veterinary Hospital is growing, and we’re looking for a Licensed or Credentialed or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT, LVT, or CVT) with 2+ years of experience who wants to take the next step in their career.


This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys surgery, anesthesia, patient care, and mentoring others and is interested in developing their leadership skills. As our hospital continues to grow, we’re looking for someone who can bring experience to the team, help train and support fellow technicians, and contribute to building a strong, collaborative hospital culture.


What You’ll Do


You’ll have a hands-on role supporting both surgical and outpatient appointments, with opportunities to help strengthen the skills of the existing technician team.

  • Assist with surgical procedures and monitor anesthesia
  • Provide high-quality nursing and inpatient care
  • Recover surgical and hospitalized patients
  • Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture
  • Administer medications and injections
  • Perform laboratory diagnostics and other technical procedures
  • Perform dental cleanings and take dental radiographs
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Communicate with clients about patient care and treatment plans
  • Support training and mentorship of other veterinary technicians and team members
  • Help promote consistent patient-care and technical standards across the hospital
  • Contribute ideas and participate in the continued growth of the hospital

What We’re Looking For


  • RVT, LVT, or CVT credential required
  • 1–2 years of veterinary technician experience preferred
  • Experience with surgery and anesthesia monitoring
  • Strong patient-care and technical skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A positive, adaptable approach to teamwork
  • Interest in training, mentoring, and developing other team members
  • Commitment to Fear Free and high-quality patient care
  • A desire to grow professionally and take on additional responsibility

Schedule


  • Full-time, five-day workweek
  • Eight-hour weekday shifts
  • Rotating Saturdays
  • Consistent schedule designed to support work-life balance
